What is Active Krill?

Active Krill is a product based on krill meal which comes from krill that has been ground into powder.

Krill, or Euphausia Superbra, is a shrimp-like crustacean, and does not grow more than about 6 centimeters long. They can live up to 10 years.

Krill feed on algae that grow under the Antarctic ice. Krill is defined as zooplankton, a organism that floats around in water.

Krill live in large swarms, which can have a density of 30.000 animals per square meter. The water that krill live in is clean. They are at the top of the food chain and therefore clean and free of heavy metals.
